Ways to be paid for custom work
- Flat customization ($99.99): someone's content in your customizable experience. You keep 50%.
- Negotiated customization: bigger changes to an existing experience, at a price you agree. Interartive keeps 15%.
- Original custom experiences: something new, made for one client. No platform fee. You agree the price on Interartive; the client pays into escrow; you are paid in full when you deliver and the experience is transferred to their account. The client pays only the card processing cost (2.9% + 30¢), which is shown before they pay.
- Offers from Interartive: our team sometimes offers creators paid projects (for example, more experiences for a season). Accept, counter or decline. Accepted offers are paid from Interartive's budget with no fee.
Why original work is free
Interartive earns from licenses, subscriptions and ads. Making Interartive the best place to hire creative coders brings more experiences and more licenses, so we don't take a cut of original commissions.
Delivery
The finished experience is registered to you (you keep authorship and the certificate) and transferred to the client's account with an exclusive Custom license. They share it from their profile.
