Live data and data calls
How often your data is read, what a data call is, and how to set your own limit.
A blueprint never reaches the internet itself. Interartive reads your data address for it and hands the rows in. Each read is a data call.
- Data is read only while someone is looking, and never more often than the refresh you chose.
- Your plan sets the fastest refresh: hourly snapshots (Precision), every minute (Kinetic), every few seconds (Bespoke).
- Your plan includes a number of data calls a month. Your piece page shows how many you used.
- Limit data calls per hour: set your own cap on any piece when the data address charges per call or limits how often you may call it.
Pieces made from a file never make data calls; upload a new file to update them.
