Review guidelines
What the automated checks and moderators look for, and the common reasons for rejection.
Automated checks
- Not playable: the page did not load within 45 seconds, stayed blank, or threw errors before drawing anything. Test the zip locally with a static server first.
- Not interactive: we found no input listeners, or the screen did not change when we clicked, tapped, dragged or pressed keys. Experiences must respond to people. Animations and videos belong elsewhere.
- External data calls in a children's experience: kids experiences may not contact any other address. Bundle fonts, libraries and data inside the zip, and remove analytics and ads.
Human review
- Category mismatch: "The selected category does not match the experience." A maths game in Wellness, or a horror game in Kids, will be returned.
- Age band: content must suit the youngest age in the band.
- Rights: you must own or have permission for everything in it.
Policies that always apply
No collecting personal data, no deceptive design, no gambling with real money, no content that sexualises anyone, no hateful content, no malware or crypto-mining. Ads inside experiences are not allowed: Interartive runs ads around experiences, and pays you for it.
